AHMEDABAD: Many city schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) appear to be changing their decision to hold in-person final exams for the primary and secondary sections, and now intend to hold the tests online.
The change in their decision is mainly due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases and the gradual withdrawal of consent that schools had received from parents. Many parents who had earlier agreed to send their children to schools to take the examinations physically are now opting for the online test. This is also because of the guidelines that ask schools to give parents the option to choose the mode of exams for their children.
