RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - The city of Richmond Hill is looking to fill yet another vacant city council seat.
Mark Ott’s resignation came as a surprise to the mayor and city council members. Mayor Russ Carpenter says he hopes whoever is elected to fill Ott’s seat will help bring stability to the council.
Ott’s term was set to run until 2023 but now a special election will need to be held to find his replacement.
