Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a Monday to allow to-go cocktail delivery in Iowa.The governor's office said Reynolds signed House Fille 766, which allows Iowa businesses to deliver alcohol through partnerships with delivery services, including Uber Eats and GrubHub.To-go cocktail sales began in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic began to help restaurants continue making a profit during shutdowns.Rep. Shannon Lundgren, R-Dubuque, told KCCI Saturday she hopes the measure will continue to help the recovering bar and restaurant industry.“It is a great way for our bars and restaurants to help recover from the pandemic,” Lundgren said. “Many were closed over the last year.”Reynolds the law takes effect July 1.
