<p><span>Good afternoon, and welcome to the SEC’s 41</span><span>st</span><span> annual </span><a href="https://www.sec.gov/oasb/sbforum2022">Small Business Forum</a><span>. This is one of my favorite events of the year, and not just because it brings together hundreds of people who are passionate about capital raising, all of our Commissioners, as well as other government leaders. This annual event signals that no matter the good work we have done, we will always need advocates pushing us to rethink and retool our policies in response to a constantly changing environment.</span></p>
