A speed measuring device has been placed on the road to see how fast vehicles are travelling.
But resident Dee Bailey, who originally thought the speed measuring device was a vehicle counting device, believes carrying out surveys during lockdown will result in a skewed result.
She said: "Of course it will be unrepresentative – why else would it be in place now? I still think that this is a way of counting traffic and very suspicious.
"Maybe they might like to leave it there until way after the traffic returns to normal and see what happens. I can’t see that happening though.”
