Researchers pioneer a new way to detect microbial contamination in cell cultures

A new method of detecting adventitious microbial contamination in mesenchymal stromal cell cultures ensures the rapid and accurate testing of cell therapy products intended for use in patients. The method was developed by researchers from the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART).
