Researchers develop technique to boost Taiwanese maqaw production

Taipei, June 28 (CNA) Researchers in Hualien have developed a process to raise the germination rate of Taiwanese maqaw seeds seven-fold, giving hope that the local spice and staple of Taiwanese Indigenous cuisine can be cultivated more widely.
