Reports: Mother Arrested in Deaths of Young Children Was in Custody Battle

RESEDA (CNS) - A 30-year-old woman suspected of stabbing her three young children to death remained in custody today as authorities continued to investigate the tragic case.  
Liliana Carrillo was arrested Saturday in the Ponderosa area of Tulare County, east of Porterville, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department.  
The LAPD reported early Saturday afternoon that Carrillo may have carjacked a silver Toyota pickup in the Bakersfield area before her arrest.  
The bodies of the three children were found at an apartment in the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard in Reseda, near Strathern Street, after the deaths were reported at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Cervantes.
