Wide receiver Josh Gordon is hopeful of another chance in the NFL and has sent a letter to commissioner Roger Goodell, according to an ESPN report, requesting reinstatement.
The report added that, for the past three months, Gordon has been subject to random drug testing by the NFL and has passed those tests.
Gordon, 30, was selected in the 2012 supplemental draft. He would be a free agent if he is reinstated by the NFL.
While with the Seattle Seahawks in December 2019, he was given an indefinite suspension for substance abuse and performance-enhancing substance violations.
