Democrats and Republicans disagree on a lot of things, but an Oklahoma congressman might have found something to bring the parties together – STEM education for rural students.
"No matter where you live, what you look like, what your background is, if you've got the ability, we want you to have the opportunity to live up to your potential," Rep. Frank Lucas, R-Oklahoma, said.Sign up for our Newsletters
Lucas said this country lives up to its potential by giving everyone the opportunity to succeed. Now, the Republican from Cheyenne said that's not the case for rural students.
