Remote learning should never be favoured after the COVID-19 pandemic ends, a teachers’ union says, because it has a major impact on both students and teachers.
That conclusion comes from a study by the Fédération du personnel de l’enseignement privé (FPEP), which is affiliated with the Centrale des syndicats du Québec (CSQ).

In a report published Sunday, the union points out negative consequences of online learning for both students and school personnel, including lesser retention of material by students, the erosion of student-teacher relationships and teachers being overworked.
