Remains of razed rice fields discovered in Beijing's Old Summer Palace

The ruins were found in the northwest section of Yuanmingyuan at the Danbo Ningjing (literally Simple and Calm) site. Completed in the fifth year of the Yongzheng Emperor (1727).
