Release of Waukesha suspect ahead of tragedy was due to human error by overworked staffer, DA says

The DA said an assistant prosecutor who was assigned to a domestic violence case against Darrell E. Brooks was handling a jury trial and almost two dozen felony cases when she reviewed the parade suspect's most recently posted bail.
