A bipartisan group of lawmakers has reintroduced the PASTEUR Act in Congress, which stands for Pioneering Antimicrobial Subscriptions to End Upsurging Resistance. The legislation would encourage investment in the development of drugs to address what some have called "the antimicrobial resistance crisis."
