REDMOND, WA — The streak of beautiful weather that kicked off December came to end this week, and rain clouds will be in the cards off and on for the near future, according to the National Weather Service.
While conditions Wednesday should be a bit less soggy than Tuesday, forecasters said there is a potential for a convergence zone in the Central Sound in the morning and afternoon, which could bring some bursts of heavy rain.
Most towns should catch a break during the day Thursday before another wet weather system brings in more lowland rain and mountain snow lasting through Friday. Early forecasts suggest more unsettled weather for the weekend and the possibility of heavy rain and mountain snow lasting into early next week.
