A newly built 11-storey building at Nair Dental Hospital in Mumbai Central has been lying unutilised as it has been awaiting inauguration by chief minister Eknath Shinde for months. The new building marks the most significant upgrade in the 90-year history of the institution, which started humbly with six dental chairs in a stable at Topiwala Medical College in 1933.
