Plainview, L.I.: Congestion pricing is just another money grab from many residents who will not benefit. The government has no idea of the repercussions from congestion pricing. Your neighboring residents will abandon the idea of coming into Manhattan and spending money. Your restaurants, shops and theaters will definitely suffer. Your local people pay a fortune to have a car in New York, pay a toll to cross the East River to enter Manhattan, pay for parking ($25-plus) and next April will need to pay an additional $9-$23.
