Reader letters on ideas to improve Savannah and politicians

I earnestly wish for Savannah to be the city we need it to be by:
Enforcing Mayor Van Johnson’s efforts to “make Savannah safer, equitable and accessible for all.”
The REAL Task Force identifying and dismantling city policies and procedures that have resulted in unequal outcomes.
Mandating that all employers pay a living wage.
Making more affordable housing available.
Forcing SCAD to contribute to Savannah financially for the free services that cover its growing non-taxable campus.
Supporting District Attorney Shalena Cook-Jones as she overhauls the plea bargain process and enacts procedures and programs that will reduce childhood trauma, non-violent incarceration and unfair cash bail for low level offenses.
