Reaction to Duke's history-making win over Boston College
It’s a, “do or die,” situation for the Duke Blue Devils right now. Looking to fight their way into the NCAA Tournament this week at the ACC Tournament, the Blue Devils know that they cannot suffer a bad loss this week, or any hopes at squeaking into the field of 68 as a bubble team goes out the door. On Tuesday, Duke avoided that potentially horrible loss.
Unusually playing on Tuesday of the ACC Tournament, Duke coasted past the Boston College Eagles, 86-51 at the Greensboro Coliseum on Tuesday evening. The win kept the Blue Devils’ season alive and earned them a spot in the second round of the tournament on Wednesday night against the seventh-seeded Louisville Cardinals. If Duke wins again, it will face second-seeded Florida State in the quarterfinals.
