Rapist Victor Farrant who drowned mum dies behind bars just weeks after bid for freedom

Victor Farrant was jailed in 1998 for killing his former girlfriend Glenda Hoskins and trying to kill another woman. Last month the Mirror reported how he was being considered for compassionate leave.
