Randwick Guineas 2021: Peltzer out to maintain perfect track record in Group 1 mile

Peltzer can prove the “horses for courses’’ theory is fact not fiction when he contests the Group 1 $1 million Randwick Guineas (1600m) at Royal Randwick.
The talented colt clearly saves his best for Randwick where he is unbeaten in five starts, including feature race successes in the Stan Fox Stakes, Bondi Stakes and Eskimo Prince Stakes. His only other win came at Kembla Grange on debut.
But when Peltzer races at Rosehill Gardens, it all goes horribly wrong. From four starts on his home track he remains winless, the only defeats of his 10-race career. He was beaten as favourite last start when fourth to Aegon in the Hobartville Stakes.
