WILLIAMSPORT -- A railroad employee who lost an arm and leg when run over blames the accident on the carelessness and recklessness of the shortline company for whom he worked.
Wayne Brewer of the Lock Haven area makes the accusation in a suit filed Wednesday in U.S. Middle District Court against the Lycoming Valley Railroad and its parent company, North Shore Railroad Co. of Northumberland.
North Shore president and CEO Jeb S. Stotter said Friday the company does not comment on pending litigation but intends to vigorously defend the claims made against it and Lycoming Valley.
