R. Roland 'Brock' Brockmeyer, who rose from poverty to become an attorney and an advocate for the less fortunate, dies

R. Richard Brockmeyer, an orphan who overcame poverty and later earned his law degree and became an advocate for the less fortunate, died Sunday from heart failure at his Hunt Valley home. He was 86.
