Queensland records one positive case in the community

Brisbane and Gold Coast on alert after man who tested positive in NSW travelled to Brisbane
Queensland recorded five new COVID cases - including a man who travelled illegally from Sydney to Ballina and then to Brisbane.

Queensland’s Deputy Premier Steven Miles has announced a new COVID-19 case is the source of a Qantas flight attendant's infection.
A Qantas flight attendant tested positive to the highly infectious Delta strain after making contact with a positive case from New South Wales.
Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young revealed one of the recorded cases was a man who travelled illegally from Sydney to Ballina and then to Brisbane so was therefore included in NSW’s COVID figures.
