Queen singer Freddie Mercury's hotpants from 1980 Birmingham gig sell for £14,500 ahead of auction

Freddie Mercury's skintight leather hotpants have sold for £14,500 to an undisclosed overseas buyer. The singer wore the shorts during an encore at a concert in Birmingham in December 1980.
