With only one English school board defying Quebec’s decision to reopen high school classrooms full time, the Education Ministry has hinted it might not force boards to abide by the new decree.
“The return to full-time (in-person education) is important for the success of our youth, however, we are going to communicate with the school boards to see what can be done,” a spokesperson for Education Minister Jean-François Roberge said Thursday.
