Just 11 minutes ago, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Rivas, Departamento de Rivas, Nicaragua. The tremor was recorded early morning on Saturday 23 January 2021 at 5:27 am local time, at a very shallow depth of 6 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (INETER), the first seismological agency to report it.
