QCPD chief quits amid ex-policeman press conference backlash

(UPDATE) BGEN. Nicolas Torre 3rd confirmed on Wednesday his resignation as Quezon City Police District (QCPD) chief, noting it is meant to spare the Philippine National Police (PNP) from the controversies hounding the August 27 press conference the QCPD organized for embattled ex-policeman Wilfredo Gonzales.
