Qatar- HBKU-CSE holds virtual cybersecurity workshop

Doha: The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has presented a Virtual Cybersecurity Workshop to a select group of senior high school students, as part of its ‘Innovate.Create' series of computer engineering training programs. 
Representing different schools across Qatar, the aspiring HBKU students learned to understand both how computer attacks work and how to secure computers against cyberattacks. The session focused on the multidisciplinary aspects of cybersecurity technology, as well as policy, ethics, and management related to IT security and cyber threats. The workshop was organized and led by Dr. Roberto Di Pietro (pictured) at CSE's Division of Information and Computing Technologies.
