DOHA: Qatar Airways announced its role as official airline sponsor of the first Chefs of Qatar Virtual Food Festival in partnership with the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC).
Showcasing the uniqueness of the country’s culinary scene, boasting flavours and talents from all around the world, Chefs of Qatar reflects Qatar Airways’ commitment to boosting gastronomic diversity, reflected by the airline’s on-board culinary offering, which is inspired by the 130 destinations Qatar Airways is currently serving.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are pleased to be sponsors and to support QNTC on such a creative initiative that showcases the abundance and the diversity of Qatar’s culinary scene and its leading talents, while in-person festivals and mass events cannot be held in the context of the continuing pandemic.
