RANCHI: Anticipating a spurt in the number of hospitalisations, the Ranchi district administration on Thursday asked private hospitals of the city to increase their Covid-19 beds.
Deputy commissioner Chhavi Ranjan met representatives of the hospitals at the Collectorate Building and also urged them to stick to tariffs which were set by the state health department in the peak of the pandemic last year. The hospital managements were also asked to maintain a database of Covid-19 patients who are being admitted to their facilities.
