Chandigarh, March 4 : Expressing concern over the depleting groundwater level in the state, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Thursday passed a unanimous resolution urging the state government to take immediate steps for saving it.
Speaker Rana K.P. Singh announced to constitute a high-level committee for exploring the ways and means to recharge the water table.
