Pune: India is witnessing a surge in the number of daily coronavirus cases. One of the key contributors to the same has been Pune. Following the surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in the city, the state government on Sunday had announced weekend lockdown and night curfew in the city from Monday till April 30.
The Pune Municipal Corporation on Monday had also ordered for the closing of all establishments and markets except the essential services shops till April 30.
