Pueblo's summer concert series Bands in the Backyard returns July 2021

Bands in the Backyard is back.
After a three-year hiatus, the popular summer concert series held at the rodeo grounds behind Giodone's restaurant located at 23344 U.S. Highway 50 will return July 9 and 10.
The concert was canceled last year due to COVID-19.
Creator and promoter Tommy Giodone said he's happy to finally have the festival back.
"I am really excited to put on Bands in the Backyard this year," he said. "We were looking forward to bringing it back for 2020, but COVID hit, and I think people are really looking forward to getting out and getting back to normal."
The concert, usually held in June, will be moved to July to allow for more people to receive COVID vaccinations.
