Public invited to honor community's essential workers in car parade at Engelstad Arena
Parade begins with line up at Engelstad Arena, ends with fireworks display at Alerus Center on Sunday, Dec. 20.

Area residents are invited to honor frontline workers Sunday, Dec. 20, by joining a celebration that begins with a car parade and ends with a fireworks display.
The event to celebrate essential workers in the community begins at 4 p.m. with a parade assembly at the Ralph Engelstad Arena parking lot. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles.
Prizes will be awarded for the “most festive cars,” according to the Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau.
