PSEG donates $1.5M to N.J. groups to aid struggling families affected by COVID-19

Eleven Garden State organizations that provide help for families struggling because of the COVID-19 pandemic have been given a boost by North Jersey-based utility company PSEG and the PSEG Foundation.
The groups donated $1.5 million to the 11 New Jersey non-profits as well as three located in Long Island to help families and individuals with issues such as food insecurity, unemployment, mental and physical health, and poverty, according to a release from PSEG. The gifts also will provide support for ongoing issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse and child neglect.
