SOME farmers in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State have appealed to Governor Sryi Makinde to sign the Anti-Open Grazing Bill already passed by the House of Assembly into law.
The President, Igangan Agro Park Investment Association, Mr  Oluwafemi Abioye, made this appeal in an interview with our correspondent in Ibadan on Tuesday.
He said the bill, Oyo State Open Rearing and Grazing Regulation, was passed by the lawmakers in October 2019 and added that more than a year after its passage, the governor had yet to sign it into law.
He said the killing of a farmer, Dr Fatai Aborode, was the latest loss of life suffered by the farmers in the area, saying his life had also been threatened by the herdsmen.
