HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The tensions of last year seem to have shifted as many listened to the verdict of the Derek Chauvin trial. While it’s taken weight off some people’s shoulders, protesters against police brutality said the fight for justice isn’t over.
Outside Honolulu Police Department’s headquarters Tuesday, about two dozen protestors held signs calling for more transparency and accountability from the department.
Protesters demanded that police scale back their use of force.
