PROSPECT PARK — The borough's only public school will reopen for live instruction on Monday as long as there are no reports of COVID-19 this week, the superintendent said.
The change means that some students will see their teachers in person for five days per week for the first time since the pandemic closed the school a year ago.
Students in kindergarten through third grade will return for full in-person learning, and those in pre-K and grades four to eight will go back to the same hybrid model used in the fall. Under that schedule, hybrid students in each grade are split into groups, with each receiving live instruction for two days per week and every other Friday.
