Proposed Highways England changes to A52 Bingham Road/Harlequin junction, Radcliffe, labelled grave safety risk

Proposed changes to a road junction have been labelled a grave safety risk that could cause more accidents.
A petition has been launched against Highways England’s plans for the A52 Bingham Road/Harlequin junction in Radcliffe.
Changes include widening all approaches to the junction to provide extra lanes for vehicles turning right on to Bingham Road and Carter Avenue, as well as a new traffic lights and pedestrian system.

The left turn from the A52 eastbound carriageway on to Bingham Road would be removed.
