Downtown Rochester is about to get some new artwork to show off throughout the rest of the summer.
The City of Rochester, along with DMC and Threshold Arts, is looking for proposals for original art on concrete barricades in Downtown Rochester.
According to Threshold Arts' website, the group is looking for three Rochester area artists to create original art on the concrete barricades adjacent to outdoor dining area at different downtown Rochester establishments.
Their website indicated that the selected artists will create a "cohesive mural using acrylic paint or another lightfast medium on the exterior and interior façades of multiple concrete barricades measuring 32” tall x 10’ wide each."
