A tractor-trailer tanker carrying 9,300 gallons of liquid propane rolled over onto the side of a road in Franklin Township on Wednesday evening.
Franklin Township Police responded to the single-vehicle accident on Locust Grove Road at approximately 10:35 p.m. The Hunterdon County Hazardous Materials Response Unit and Quakertown Fire Department arrived at the scene at around 1 in the morning to assist in uprighting the vehicle, according to Andrew Camp, the deputy coordinator of the Hunterdon County Office of Emergency Management and Bradley Patkochis, deputy chief of the Quakertown Fire Company.
