Prominent Norfolk animal rights advocate Debra Griggs dies at 69: 'She was just a bright light' – The Virginian-Pilot

Debra Griggs, known around Norfolk as a fierce advocate for animal rights, died Nov. 2. She was 69. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ascension Episcopal Church, 405 Talbot Hall Road, in Norfolk.
