Program provides backpacks for children in TK, kindergarten across Fairfield-Suisun schools
FAIRFIELD — Most of the youngest children attending school in Fairfield and Suisun City have received backpacks filled with school supplies, virtual learning materials and books to further their distance learning efforts amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kris Corey, superintendent of the Fairfield-Suisun School District, called the backpacks a “midyear surprise” in a press release to announce their distribution.
