Professional development workshops for teachers begin April 30

The Guam Department of Education invites teachers to register for professional workshops titled “Work Readiness and Employment Insights of Island Businesses,” according to a news release. 
In partnership with the Guam Association for Career and Technical Education, the 12-week series occurs on Zoom every Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The first workshop starts April 30.  
This Friday’s workshop will feature key speakers from Guam’s construction industry.  
Main points of the workshops:
Learning work-readiness skills, attitudes, and career opportunities; 
Presenting strategies to add college and career readiness concepts in a classroom curriculum; and
