Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has appointed an eminent surgeon and pro-vice chancellor of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), Karachi, Prof Shahid Rasool, as acting vice chancellor of the varsity till further orders, says a notification.
According to the notification issued by the Universities and Boards Department of the government, the notification for the appointment of Prof Dr Amjad Siraj Memon as JSMC vice chancellor has been suspended till a decision is given by the SHC.
