HOLLYWOOD stars such as Cillian Murphy and Sam Claflin will be descending on Cheshire again as production resumes on the final episodes of Peaky Blinders.
Filming for the hit BBC period crime drama was halted due to the pandemic last year, but creator Steven Knight revealed to fans on social media that it had resumed, under government guidelines and protocols, and will be the ‘best series of all’.
Many locations on our doorstep are used in show, with Arley Hall and Gardens, near Appleton Thorn, used as one of the main filming locations.
Arley Hall doubles as lead character Tommy Shelby’s Arrow House with the production team painting the walls dark green and bringing in 1920s furniture every time they work there.
