Wildlife control experts are preparing to shoot a coyote blamed for four recent biting attacks in the Tuscany area.
But even as the officials expect to destroy the canine later on Monday, the city’s specialist said there’s no need to change course in how it handles problem animals like coyotes, which usually means rousting them from neighbourhoods.

“We’ve had great success with our hazing process, it’s limited the number of negative coyote-human encounters and we’ve seen an approximately 20 per cent decrease in 311 calls,” said Lincoln Julie, the city’s integrated pest management lead.
