Probationary constable in Sibu charged with colleague's murder

The accused being escorted to court to be charged
SIBU: A probationary police constable has been charged at a Magistrate's Court here with the murder of his colleague.
The accused, Mohamad Nur Alif Mazlan, 28, was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for killing Norhalim Tumiran, 25, between 5.45pm and 6.30pm on May 6 at a house in Lane 9, Jalan Permai here.
The offence carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
No plea was recorded from the accused before Magistrate Siti Hazwani Hanim on Wednesday (May 19).
Two of Mohamad Nur's colleagues, aged 21 and 23, were investigated under the same section of the Penal Code.
