Principal removed from Trinity following alcohol related incident
In a document obtained by The Press on Wednesday afternoon, Trinity Catholic Schools’ Bishop David Kagan notified faculty that Father Kregg Hochhalter has been removed from his position as principal of Trinity High School and Junior High School effective immediately. The announcement comes after Hochhalter and a female teacher/coach consumed alcohol and had an open container in a school vehicle while driving to Minot for the Class B State Basketball Tournament. The letter claims that Hochhalter made efforts to conceal their actions.
